Even though we still have no clue about when the next patch will be pushed to live servers, one post on the official forums caught our attention...

Michael Brookes, executive director on Elite, posted about introducing passenger missions in the upcoming 2.2 patch. One of the reasons for passengers traveling is tourism, so they are trying to build a database of tourist locations in human space and beyond for the passengers to visit. Michael turned to the player base asking for memorable spots they've visited which will hopefully end up in some of the future missions.

Not only that mission variety is always a good thing, but this will be a great way of going around the bubble (or out of it) knowing your destination will be a shiny one!

You can catch more about the topic on the official Frontier forums.
