There is a big update coming to the Abyssal Proving Grounds feature in EVE Online! This revamp will be part of EVE Online's third Quadrant coming soon in July, and will also introduce new Proving Filaments to New Eden.

The Proving Filaments will take Capsuleers from any point in space, directly to an Abyssal Proving Ground inside Abyssal Deadspace where they will engage in player vs player combat! The Filaments will be obtainable through Abyssal Deadspace and Triglavian Invasion-related content, as well as upcoming events.

Capsuleers will finally be able to test their PvP abilities in specific ship classes, with specific combat formats, and there will also be leaderboards! The type of Proving Filament you get will determine what type of battle you'll be engaging in.

As if that weren't enough, the Abyssal Proving Grounds will have new Triglavian-themed settings as well, adding significantly to the atmosphere of these battlegrounds!
